What's better than a Rock Festival & A Renaissance Festival combined?

We say, "NOTHING!"

We're taking our 6th Annual Fall Rockhound Festival and expanding on it with a brand-new Great Raven Renaissance Festival. This will mean more rocks, more entertainment and more vendors for a great 2-day event, starting in Oct. 2026.  Now we'll feature over 200 vendors, live music, sword fighting, educational opportunities, great food, spirits and more. We are SO excited!

Don't sweat to death in the middle of summer going to other events, come enjoy the autumn splendor in Glenshire in the woods and along the river at GRRF!!

NEW - Exclusive to the Great Raven Renaissance Festival - participation wrist bands. Participants that do NOT wish to be called on during shows or otherwise interacted with while attending the festival can wear a free wristband, available at any entry gate. Make sure you keep the wrist band visible while enjoying your day with us and the entertainers will make sure they let you enjoy the festival in peace.

The simple act of buying your admission tickets ahead of time can help make this event SO much better!

Being our first year of this new combined event, we are asking patrons and the ren family to consider buying your ticket ahead of time as opposed to waiting to purchase at the gate. Why does this matter?  Think of it like a GoFundMe, for our first year we have a LOT of site work to do and it all costs money. By simply purchasing your tickets ahead of time, you help us get that admission money earlier, so we can reinvest it into the event itself to make our first year for this new festival as grand as all that will follow.

As a special thank you, we'll offer pre-sales tickets at a discount until mid-summer next year, so don't delay if you want to save a few bucks.

Journal entry - by Kade Stormbrook, 23rd June 1540.

It is the year of our Lord 1540. I accidentally happened across a new festival sprouting up on the big bend of the Kalamazoo River in a small town called Glenshire, on my travels west this day. The grounds are newly cleaned, and construction is not yet done, but it looks promising. The lads were working on it when I arrived, so I had a chance to talk with them a bit while they took a break with bread and mead. These folks are very excited for the festival, and they have some grand ideas, some bigger than I can imagine they'll accomplish, but we shall see. Whatever it may be, I am certain it will be a grand event. Their location is but the most picturesque of any location I have traveled to for a festival. There are not one or two, but several massive mother trees in these woods, ancient and old for sure. The view up and down the river makes me think I'll see a ship round the next bend. You can tell these grounds hold something special, the feeling of great joy and magick come from these woods. There is a painting op in every direction I look, and they have so much more to do yet. It has been quite some time since an event of this grandeur we held in our area. I hope to be back this way on my return home right around October of year next. I hope to see all their hard work pay off and a real gem for our county blossom. There is nothing quite like a gathering of like minds and like souls to make us forget the trifles and trials of our day-to-day existences. This event is sure to be the talk of alehouses far and wide for some time to come. Hazzah to the lords and ladies - may they be blessed with the wind at the back of their sails!!
